Amarnath Cave is situated at an altitude of 3,888 meters in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, about 141 km from Srinagar. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has an ice Shivalingam. Every year Amarnath Yatra is conducted in the months of July and August.
Tirupati Temple, Andhra Pradesh
The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara or Balaji, one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu and is located amid the seven hills in Tirumala-Tirupati. It is one of the richest pilgrimage places in the world.
Badrinath Temple, Uttarakhand
Badrinath temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is located at an altitude of 3,133 meters in Uttarakhand. It is one of the Char Dham temples in India.
Kedarnath Temple
Kedarnath temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is located on the top of Garhwal hills near Mandakini river in Uttarakhand. It is also one of the Char Dham temples and a pious place.
Bodh Gaya, Bihar
Bodh Gaya is located in the state of Bihar and is famous as a religious place of Hindus and Buddhists as Gautam Buddha attained nirvana under the Bodhi Tree at this place. It is now a World Heritage Site.
Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh
Varanasi, also famous by the name of Banaras is one of the holiest and oldest cities of India, which is located on the banks of holy river Ganga. Kashi Vishwanath temple is a famous pilgrimage place in Varanasi.
