Delhi ' with its persistent hype and trounce of unconscious and human traffic ' can be absolutely challenging and perplexing for the person who is visiting this place for the first time. But don't let snappy and irritable first impressions demean the positive points of this actually all round developed metropolitan. Discover beyond the dirty surface and you would speedily discover that India's capital city is scattered with sparkling and shimmering gems. Charming and fascinating old  monuments, appealing and enlightening  museums, a Lively and energetic performing-arts scene and some of the subcontinent's most interesting and alluring places to eat where some delectable delicacies are served.

A vivacious and a pulsating melting pot, you can see diverse cultures and hear a Hodgepodge of  various languages spoken in Delhi, the most usual being Hindi, English, Punjabi and Urdu. In terms of its outline, Delhi put in a nutshell two very diverse worlds, the 'old' and the 'new' Delhi, each part depicting completely different and unusual experiences. This very big city, New Delhi was made as the royal and the majestic capital of India by the British; Old Delhi was the capital of Islamic India. Tourists visiting this place can easily move into both, enjoying  half the day engrossing themselves in history at the remarkable and spectacular Red Fort, Jama Masjid and middle aged-flavored markets of Old Delhi, and remaining of their time stimulating and refreshing themselves over bubbly cappuccinos or freezing cocktails at one of New Delhi's classy and glamorous  cafés and bars. Besides this, Delhi's latest international cuisine revolution is an indication  that hungry and travelers with wonderful taste buds can now enjoy on everything from Mughlai curries, lovely Thai and Mexican, mouth watering Chinese and plump South Indian idlis (rice cakes), to lovely wood-fired pizzas and soft sashimi. The different types of joints with a large variety of kababs have really been very famous with the visitors who happen to visit Delhi. In a nutshell Delhi satisfies all the people by serving multi-cuisines so food never is a problem in this city.

For those who have  to take  a  straight flight home there are some wonderful last-minute shopping and marketing opportunities, with handicrafts and handloom products from all parts of the country' Some people go crazy when they see those blinking mirrorwork bedcovers  and Bandini work of  Rajasthan or outstanding and remarkable Madhubani painting of Bihar. So, visiting a city like Delhi leaves some unmatched memories for a lifetime which cannot be experienced anywhere else.
